The rectifying developable and the tangent indicatrix of a curve in Galilean 3-space (Q653864)

The fold, cusp and swallowtail singularities for distance and height functions [\textit{J. W. Bruce} and \textit{P. J. Giblin}, Curves and singularities. A geometrical introduction to singularity theory. Cambridge etc.: Cambridge University Press (1984; Zbl 0534.58008)] are studied in Galilean geometry. The relationships between singularities and invariants under the action of the Galilean group related to the order of contact with Galilean helices are established.
