The author provides an alternative presentation of a result by \textit{J.~Lindenstrauss} and \textit{A.~Pełczyński} [Stud. Math. 29, 275--326 (1968; Zbl 0183.40501)], which asserts that a Banach space with the lifting property is isomorphic to \(\ell_1(\Gamma)\) for some set \(\Gamma\). The idea relies on using Grothendieck's theorem asserting that operators from \(\ell_1\) to \(\ell_2\) are 1-summing for complemented subspaces of \(\mathscr{L}_1\)-spaces that have unconditional bases. The paper is a continuation of work by the author presented in [\textit{J. Kang}, Korean J. Math. 30, No. 1, 147--154 (2022; Zbl 1512.46016)].
