The authors use the Guo-Lakshmikantham fixed point theorem for \(\theta\)-concave increasing operators on cones in Banach spaces to show the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions of a second order ordinary differential equation with switched nonlinearity of the form \[ x''(t)+f_{\sigma(t)}(t,x(t))=0,\quad t\in[0,1] \] satisfying the boundary conditions \[ x(0)=0 \text{ and } x(1)=\int_0^1a(s)x(s)ds. \]
