The author simulates the flow of a dusty gas in a two-dimensional horizontal tube. A polydisperse gas-droplet suspension enters the tube through a hole in its lower wall. The flows of such a type may occur, for example, in devices designed for liquid purification of dusty media. The flow is described by Navier-Stokes equations, and the multi-speed model is used to take into account coexistence and interaction of suspended particles.\N\NThe author solves the equations using the explicit finite difference McCormack method and studies dynamics of droplets and dust particles in the tube. In particular, he shows how inertia and the droplet size affect the particle distribution.
