Let \(r, n\) be positive integers with \(n \geq 6r\). Denote by \(\boldsymbol{P}_n\) the space of polynomials of degree at most \(n\) on \([0,1]\) and by \(\boldsymbol{M}_r\) the space of all polynomials divisible by the polynomial \(x^r(1-x)^r\). Let \(\boldsymbol{P}_n\cap\boldsymbol{M}_r\) be such that \(P(k)(0)/k!\) and \(P(k)(1)/k!\) are integers for all \(k=0,...,r-1\). Denote by \(\boldsymbol{P}_n^{\mathbb{Z}}\cap \boldsymbol{M_r}\) the additive group of polynomials with integer coefficients. The authors investigate the minimal distance of elements from \(\boldsymbol{P}_n^{\mathbb{Z}}\cap \boldsymbol{M_r}\) to \(\boldsymbol{P}_n\cap \boldsymbol{M_r}\) in the Lebesgue space \(L_2 (0, 1)\) and present precise quantitative estimates for successive minima of \(\boldsymbol{P}_n^{\mathbb{Z}}\) in certain specific cases.
