This article is concerned with the quasilinear equation \(\Delta_{p,M} u+W(d(x)) f(u)=0\) in \(M\), where \(M\subset\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N\geq 3\) is a compact connected hypersurface of revolution without boundary and \(\Delta_{p,M}\) is the \(p\)-Laplace-Beltrami operator on \(M\). The main result of the article extablishes that under some asymptotic behavior of \(f\) at \(\pm \infty\), the above equation has infinitely many sign-changing rotationally symmetric solutions. The approach combines the shooting method for ODE with the phase-plane analysis.
