In the manuscript, the author considers the two-component Novikov system which can be classified as a two-component generalization of the Novikov equation. Two-component Camassa Holm systems and orbital stability of the smooth solitary waves and non-smooth peakons appear in the literature recently. Following the similarity between Novikov and Camassa-Holm equations but paying attention to their differences in terms of geometrical properties, the author works on orbital stability reaching back to Constantin and Strauss work cited.
