Similar to the sectional curvature of Riemannian metrics, a curvature is defined for Finslerian metrics, which is called flag curvature. In general, the flag curvature \(K(P,y)\) depends on the \(2\)-dimensional subspace \(P\subset T_xM\) and the vector \(y\in P\setminus \{0\}\). If for a Finslerian manifold \((M,F)\), the flag curvature is solely a function of \(y\) and does not depend on \(P\), then \((M,F)\) is called a Finslerian manifold with scalar flag curvature.\N\NRanders metrics are among the most well-behaved Finslerian metrics. A Randers metric \(F\) is defined as \(F=\alpha+\beta\), where \(\alpha\) is a Riemannian metric and \(\beta\) is a \(1\)-form. The authors classify all simply connected \(3\)-dimensional Lie groups with left-invariant Randers metrics of scalar flag curvature. They also prove that if a \(3\)-dimensional Lie group \(G\) admits a left-invariant Randers metric with scalar flag curvature, then \(G\) also admits a left-invariant Riemannian metric with constant sectional curvature.
