The authors study the integral solutions of the equation \(a^2 + b^2 +c^2=d^2\). They prove several properties of these solution quadruples. Some special ordered quadruples are explored, that they call isosceles (where \(a=b\)) and so on. \N\NThis is a good article for a young researcher, as complete elementary proofs and several illustrative examples are provided. There are also some interesting results such as: every Pythagorean triple gives rise to a solution quadruple.
