Using the concept of weighted sequence space, the authors propose a new Hausdorff type measure of noncompactness (MNC) in this space. Then, using this MNC for condensing Meir-Keeler type operators, a study of the existence of solutions of infinite systems of third-order three-point nonhomogeneous boundary value problem is developed. Two concrete examples are illustrating the main results.
