The authors investigate the normalized measures on the set of trajectories lying in a compact surface in the Euclidean space. The measures are constructed via boundary conditions on the Laplace operator that lead to self-adjoint extensions of the Laplace operator. The conditions are taken between the Dirichlet and the Neumann ones. The main result is that there exists exactly two measures of such sort: the one corresponding to the Dirichlet condition and the one corresponding to the Neumann condition. More precisely, for every boundary condition different from the Dirichlet one, the corresponding measure coincides with the Wiener measure.
