The authors consider the Cauchy problem for heat-type equations, where the space variable lives in an infinite dimensional state space over the field of \(p\)-adic numbers. The role of the Laplace operator is played by the Vladimirov operator perturbed by a potential. Using operator semigroup methods (e.g. Chernoff's theorem) they obtain Feynman formulae and Feynman-Kac formulae for the solution. The novelty of this article is the consideration of infinite dimensional state spaces. (Compare the introduction section of the article.)
