Non-nilpotent Leibniz algebras with one-dimensional derived subalgebra (Q6566716)

The authors show that a non-nilpotent, non-Lie Leibniz algebra, over a field of characteristic not equal to 2, with one dimensional derived algebra is isomorphic to the direct sum of the two-dimensional non-nilpotent, non-Lie Leibniz algebra and an abelian algebra. The result had been shown for complex Leibniz algebras [\textit{I. Demir} et al., Algebr. Represent. Theory 19, No. 2, 405--417 (2016; Zbl 1335.17001)]. The derivation algebra, the group of automorphisms and the algebra of biderivations are found for this algebra. The coquecigrue problem is solved for these algebras.
