The article is devoted to the study of the problem of the existence of a compact global attractor for a system of differential equations of the form \N\[\Nx'(t)=Ax(t)+\Psi (\eta(t))Sx(t),\ \ \ \eta(t):=\|x(t)\|^{2},\ \ x(0)=x_0,\tag{1}\N\]\Nwhere \(x\in \mathbb R^{n}\), \(A,S\in \mathbb R^{n^{2}}\) and \(\eta :\mathbb R_{+}\to \mathbb R\).\N\NIt continues the author's research began in [Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 40, No. 8, 2896--2906 (2017; Zbl 1376.37062)].\N\NThe author gives sufficient conditions for the existence of an absorbing set and a compact global attractor (respectively, the condition for the absence of such an attractor) for the system (1).\N\NA number of two-dimensional and three-dimensional systems are presented to illustrate the results obtained in the work.
