A so-called exponential-type operator has the form \[(M_n f)(x)=\int_{\mathbb{R}}\,Ker_n(x,y)f(y)dy,\] with kernel \(Ker_n(x,y)\) defined by a normalizing condition \[\int_{\mathbb{R}}\,Ker_n(x,y)dy=1,\] and partial differential equation \[D[Ker_n(x,y),x]\cdot p(x)=n(y-x)Ker_n(x,y),\] where \(p(x)\) is a positive, analytic function on \(\mathbb{R}\) and \(d[f(x,y),y]\) is the first derivative with respect to \(x\).\par The authors extend the results for this type of operator using \(p(x)=x^{4/3}\) introduced in \textit{V. Gupta} and \textit{Anjali} [A new type of exponential operator, Filomat 37, 4629-4638 (2023)].\par The main result is Theorem 1.6, using half a page of space, giving an explicit form of \[\lim_{n\rightarrow\infty}\,n[M_n^{(r)}f)(x)-f^{(p)}(x)],\] for \(f\in C_{\alpha}(0,\infty)\) and \(p=1,2,3\), with the existence of \(f^{(p+2)}(x)\) at apoint \(x>0\). Here \(C_{\alpha}(0,\infty),\ \alpha>0\) is the space of continuous functions on the positive real axis with norm \[\Vert f(y) \Vert _{\alpha}(y)\leq Ce^{y\alpha}.\] A very technical paper with ``ominously'' long formulae.
