The paper studies critical behavior of the stochastic SIR model on random bond-diluted lattices. It focuses on two aspects namely the average size of the percolating cluster and the size distribution of non-percolating clusters among recovered individuals based on the Newman-Ziff algorithm. The dilution factor affects the critical behavior of the stochastic SIR model. The paper investigates whether the quenched topological disorder caused by the dilution factor is relevant to changing the universality class of the model. Monte Carlo simulations and finite-size analysis are performed.
