Let \(M\) be a Riemannian manifold with a pole \(p\) and distance function \(r=\text{dist}_N(p,\cdot).\) Let \(S\) be an unbounded complete and properly immersed submanifold of \(M\). Under the assumption that both \(M\) and \(S\) have controlled \(p\)-radial mean and sectional curvatures as viewed from the pole \(p\), the authors give explicit upper and lower bounds for the \(L^1\)-moment spectra for the Brownian motion exit-time from extrinsic metric balls of \(S\). The bounds are expressed in terms of the corresponding spectra for geodesic metric balls in suitably warped product model spaces. As a consequence of their results, the authors obtain in addition new intrinsic comparison results for the exit-time spectra for metric balls in \(M\).
