An automorphism \(\varphi \) is called contractive if \(\lim_{n \to \infty} \varphi^n(x)=1\) for all \(x \in H \). A topological group is called contractive if it admits a contractive automorphism. For a topological local group \(X\), the author finds a topological group \(H\) as an enlargement of \(X\). He shows that the \(H_L^p(X,C)\) cohomology of a local group \(X\) on an abelian group \(C\) can be considered as the isomorphism of the reduced cohomology of quotient topological group \(H_{\ast}^p(H/k,C)\) for all cases in which \(p >1\).
