The author investigates when locally homeomorphic groups are homeomorphic and shows that the answer is positive for pairs of \(\omega\)-narrow \(P\)-groups.\N\NThe rest of the paper considers two pairs of \(P\)-groups. The first pair consists of homeomorphic groups of weight and cardinality~\(\aleph_1\) one of which is \(\omega\)-narrow and the other is not; thus \(\omega\)-narrowness is not a purely topological property. The second pair answers a natural question, Number~4.4.7 in~[\textit{A. Arhangel'skii} and \textit{M. Tkachenko}, Topological groups and related structures. Hackensack, NJ: World Scientific; Paris: Atlantis Press (2008; Zbl 1323.22001)]: two Lindelöf \(P\)-groups of weight and cardinality~\(\aleph_1\) that are not locally homeomorphic.
