Let \(G\) be a finite group, \textit{A. Chermak} and \textit{A Delgado}, in [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 107, No. 4, 907--914 (1989; Zbl 0687.20022)], introduced the lattice that now bears their name. The Chermak-Delgado lattice is a self-dual lattice of subgroups with many intriguing properties. \textit{G. Fasolă} and \textit{M. Tărnăuceanu}, in [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 107, No. 3, 451--455 (2023; Zbl 1521.20045)], asked how many subgroups are not in the Chermak-Delgado lattice and classified all groups with two or less subgroups not in the Chermak-Delgado lattice. In the paper under review, the authors extend their work by classifying all groups with less than five subgroups not in the Chermak-Delgado lattice. In addition, they show that a group with less than five subgroups not in the Chermak-Delgado lattice is nilpotent. They also show that the only non-nilpotent group with five or fewer subgroups in the Chermak-Delgado lattice is \(S_{3}\).
