The author studies the equivalence between dynamic properties of (continuous) flows and the axiomatic separation properties of the so-called orbit space. The latter is obtained by means of the quotient space resulting from identifying each orbit to a single point. Theorems A, B and C relate the recurrence (minimality), nonwandering (Poisson stable) and equicontinuity (Bohr almost periodic) properties of the flow with separation properties similar to those of some Kolmogórov, Fréchet and Hausdorff respectively, of the orbit space. The results are presented in a very precise way and some examples are added to illustrate some non-equivalences.
