Let us denote by \(F_n\) the Fibonacci numbers (A000045 in OEIS), by \(L_n\) the Lucas numbers (A000032 in OEIS), by \(B_n\) the Bernoulli numbers, and by \(G_n\) the Genocchi numbers (A036968 in OEIS). The main results of the paper are the polynomial identities in variable \(x\) for \(m\geq n\geq 0\) integers: \((x+ \frac{1-\sqrt{5}}{2} )^m=\sum_{n=0}^m\sum_{k=0}^n 5^{\frac{k}{2}}\binom{n}{k}\binom{m}{n}B_k\frac{F_{n-k+1}}{n-k+1} x^{m-n}\) \(= \frac{1}{2\sqrt{5}}\sum_{n=0}^m\sum_{k=0}^n 5^{\frac{k}{2}}\binom{n}{k}\binom{m}{n}G_k\frac{L_{n-k+1}}{n-k+1}x^{m-n}\). These results contain a number of interesting special cases, including the results of \textit{P. F. Byrd} [Fibonacci Q. 13, 59--69 (1975; Zbl 0297.10007); Fibonacci Q. 13, 111--114 (1975; Zbl 0301.10013)]. A further generalization of the identities above is given by expanding \((x+ q\frac{1-\sqrt{5}}{2} )^m\).
