The \textit{squeezing function} was introduced by \textit{F. Deng} et al. [Pac. J. Math. 257, No. 2, 319--341 (2012; Zbl 1254.32015)]. Replacing the model domain from the unit ball to a bounded, balanced and convex domain, the reviewer and \textit{S. Yang} [Chin. Ann. Math., Ser. B 43, No. 2, 161--174 (2022; Zbl 1487.32082)] introduced the \textit{generalized squeezing function}.\N\NIn the paper under review, the authors study the comparison of generalized squeezing functions and Fridman invariants of some special domains (e.g., Theorems 2.1 and 2.11), give estimates for these two invariants (e.g., Theorems 3.1 and 3.6), and discuss their boundary behavior near inessential boundary points (e.g., Theorems 3.14 and 3.16).
