The paper presents theoretical results to prove that the dissipative measure-valued solutions of the 3D compressible Euler-Poisson equations converge to the solution of the incompressible Euler equations in an asymptotic regime, where the Mach number and Debye length tend to zero simultaneously. In addition, the paper concludes with estimates on the convergence rate.\N\NThe Euler-Poisson equations consist of the fluid equations for the ions (sometimes the electrons as well), coupled with Poisson's equation to describe the electrostatic potential generated by the charge density. They provide a simplified framework for investigating complex plasma behavior, especially in low-collisionality and high-density regimes.\N\NThe Euler-Poisson equations are used to model: (1) self-gravitating systems, such as stellar dynamics and gravitational collapse; (2) charge carriers (electrons and holes) within a semiconductor material; (3) collisionless plasma systems, where magnetic effects are not dominant, like Debye shielding, plasma oscillations, and wave propagation in a plasma medium.\N\NThe asymptotic study of the paper contributes to determining regimes of the governing parameters for which the mathematic model can be simplified, thereby also making its study easier to handle from a numerical standpoint.
