Notes on weak and strong convergence theorems for a finite family of asymptotically strict pseudo-contractive mappings in the intermediate sense (Q660851)

The paper is inspired by the results in [\textit{D. R. Sahu, H.-K. Xu} and \textit{J.-C. Yao}, ``Asymptotically strict pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense'', Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 70, No. 10, A, 3502--3511 (2009; Zbl 1221.47122)], where a class of asymptotically \(k\)-strict pseudo-contractive mappings in the intermediate sense was introduced. Generalizing those results, the authors gather weak and strong convergence results for a finite family of asymptotically \(k\)-strict pseudo-contractive mappings in the intermediate sense, using a Mann type iteration process which involves the use of the W-mappings introduced in [\textit{S. Atsushiba} and \textit{W. Takahashi}, ``Strong convergence theorems for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and applications'', Indian J. Math. 41, No. 3, 435-453 (1999; Zbl 1055.47514)].
