This paper is a review of the two works: [\textit{M. Isaev} and \textit{R. G. Novikov}, J. Math. Pures Appl. (9) 163, 318--333 (2022; Zbl 1491.42003)] and [\textit{M. Isaev} et al., Inverse Probl. 38, No. 10, Article ID 105002, 17 p. (2022; Zbl 1508.65059)].\N\NThe first article aims to reconstruct a compactly supported function on \(\mathbb{R}^d\), \(d\geq1\), from its Fourier transform within a ball by using prolate spheroidal wave functions and Radon transform. The last part of this paper takes up the results of the second article. The authors illustrate the numerical results of this article with two examples, consisting of super-resolution.\N\NFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1537.35005].
