A pair of group elements \(a,b\) is a mep-pair, if relations \(a=[a,{_kb}]\) and \(b=[b,{_la}]\) with natural numbers \(k,l\) are satisfied; here the inductive rule \([x,y]=[x,{_1y}]\) and \([x,{_{k+l}y}]=[[x,{_ky}],y]\) is used. Groups generated by a mep-pair are called mep-groups. The authors first exhibit mep-pairs in the commutator subgroup of the wreath product of \(S_n\) and a cyclic group \(Z_m\) with \((m,n)=1\) (using the permutation representation of \(S_n\)) and find also generating mep-pairs. For \(n=5\) and \(m\) variable, lists of possible pairs are given.
