Minimal cellular resolutions of the edge ideal of a special class of hypergraphs, the cointerval hypergraphs, are constructed. Cointerval hypergraphs are higher dimensional analog of the \textit{complement} of interval graphs. A description for the polyhedral complexes supporting these resolutions is also given.
