The author continues his discussion on locally bounded homomorphisms, the discontinuity group of a homomorphism of topological groups and (automatic) continuity, building on his previous works, including those in [\textit{A. I. Shtern}, Russ. J. Math. Phys. 21, No. 1, 133--134 (2014; Zbl 1312.22007); Adv. Stud. Contemp. Math., Kyungshang 20, No. 2, 203--212 (2010; Zbl 1198.22005); Adv. Stud. Contemp. Math., Kyungshang 20, No. 1, 1--6 (2010; Zbl 1193.22008)]. In this paper, he proves the following result: Let \(G\) and \(H\) be Lie groups, let \(\pi: G \to H\) be a locally bounded homomorphism and let \(G'\) be the commutator subgroup of \(G\). Then, the restriction of \(\pi\) to \(G'\) is a continuous homomorphism.
