A family of mixed (symplectic-Whittaker) models for irreducible representations of \(\text{GL}(n)\) was introduced by \textit{A. A. Klyachko} in [Math. USSR, Sb. 48, 365--379 (1984); translation from Mat. Sb., Nov. Ser. 120(162), No. 3, 371--376 (1983; Zbl 0526.20033)]. Over a finite field and a \(p\)-adic field, the existence (for unitary representations), the uniqueness and the disjointness of these models were proved in [\textit{N. F. J. Inglis} and \textit{J. Saxl}, Arch. Math. 57, No. 5, 424--431 (1991; Zbl 0826.20038)], [\textit{O. Offen} and \textit{E. Sayag}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 2008, Article ID rnm136, 25 p. (2008; Zbl 1158.22021); J. Funct. Anal. 254, No. 11, 2846--2865 (2008; Zbl 1143.22013)]. The paper under review proves the disjointness of these models over the real field and the complex field. This has interesting implications in the theory of automorphic forms.
