This paper deals with consider random \(d\)-dimensional motions with uniformly distributed directions where the direction alternations occur according to the renewal epochs of the Dirichlet distribution. The authors obtained the characteristic function of the particle's position for a fix number of displacements. By inverting the characteristic function, the authors derived the probability distribution of the particle's position and its properties. For the case where the number of the renewal epochs is randomized by means of a fractional Poisson process, the explicit distribution of the position of the particle is obtained.
