Inspired by the work of \textit{T Mansour} [Adv. Appl. Math. 28, No. 2, 196--202 (2002; Zbl 1004.05011)], this paper extends recursions known to \textit{L. Euler} [Opera omnia. Series prima: Opera mathematica. Vol. XV: Commentationes analyticae ad theoriam seriarum infinitarum pertinentes. II. Leipzig, B. G. Teubner (1911,1980; JFM 53.0020.03)] and an identity supplied by \textit{Benoit Cloitre} [\url{http://mathworld.wolfram.com/HarmonicNumber.html}] with achievements on the sum of the ratio of harmonic numbers and cubed binomial coefficients complementary to other Euler related results from \textit{A. Sofo} [Math. Commun. 16, No. 2, 335--345 (2011; Zbl 1282.11012)] and expressed in terms of Riemann zeta-functions as well. The paper also refers to earlier works investigating various representations of binomial sums and zeta functions in simpler form through the \textit{Beta function} and other techniques, \(e.g.\), by \textit{H. Alzer} and \textit{S. Koumandos} [Period. Math. Hung. 58, No. 1, 71--82 (2009; Zbl 1197.11013)] and still by \textit{A. Sofo} [Appl. Math. Comput. 207, No. 2, 365--372 (2009; Zbl 1175.11007); Adv. Appl. Math. 42, No. 1, 123-134 (2009; Zbl 1220.11025); Integral Transforms Spec. Funct. 20, No. 11--12, 847--857 (2009; Zbl 1242.11014)]. Beyond the support of the computer algebra package \texttt{Mathematica}, in the proof the author employs some computational techniques for the summation of series from \textit{A. Sofo} [Computational techniques for the summation of series. New York, NY: Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers (2003; Zbl 1059.65002)] and the integral and closed-form representations of sums in terms of \textit{polygamma function}, a method developed by the same \textit{A. Sofo} [J. Integer Seq. 13, No. 2, Article ID 10.2.8, 12 p. (2010; Zbl 1228.05300)], whose evaluation at rational arguments is given through formulae provided by \textit{K. S. Kölbig} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 75, No. 1, 43--46 (1996; Zbl 0860.33002)] or by \textit{J. Choi} and \textit{D. Cvijović} [J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 40, No. 50, 15019--15028 (2007; Zbl 1127.33002)] using polylogarithmic and other special functions amply described by \textit{Y. A. Brychkov} [Handbook of special functions. Derivatives, integrals, series and other formulas. Boca Raton, FL: Chapman \& Hall/CRC (2008; Zbl 1158.33001)]. The interest in the summation of harmonic numbers and binomial coefficients is remarked by the author who recalls cognate papers, e.g., by \textit{H. Chen} [J. Integer Seq. 9, No. 2, Article 06.2.3, 9 p. (2006; Zbl 1101.11033)], by \textit{K. N. Boyadzhiev} [J. Integer Seq. 12, No. 6, Article ID 09.6.1, 8 p. (2009; Zbl 1213.11054)], by \textit{P. Flajolet} and \textit{B. Salvy} [Exp. Math. 7, No. 1, 15--35 (1998; Zbl 0920.11061)] and by \textit{A. Basu} [Ramanujan J. 16, No. 1, 7--24 (2008; Zbl 1155.40002)].
