This record provides 6 individual micro Computed Tomography datasets as 6 ZIP-files. Each ZIP files contains all raw projection and reconstructed volume data both in the native Zeiss TXRM/TXM format as well exported as TIFFs (apart from HDTomo3D which does not contain TIFFs). The six datasets were acquired at the 3D Imaging Center atTechnical University of Denmark in 2014 (HDTomo3D in 2016) as part of the ERC-funded project High-Definition Tomography (HDTomo) headed by Prof. Per Christian Hansen. The 6 datasets are egg1: A Kinder Surprise chocolate egg in aluminium foil with a plastic container holding a toy and assembly instructions inside. egg2: AdifferentKinder Surprise chocolate egg, as egg1. confec: A Ferrero Rocher chocolate and hazelnut confectionery. usb: A USB memory stick. walnut: A walnut. hdtomo3d: The logo of the HDTomo3D-printed in plastic. The two main data files are the large TXRM and TXM files(a couple of GB each). The TXRM contains the raw projection data as well as metadata specifying the scan geometry. The TXM contains the vendor volume reconstruction. The data of the TXRM and of the TXM areexported as TIFF images in the projections and recon directories, respectively. Also provided (except for HDTomo3D) is a report in doc-format in which orthoslices and a 3D rendering of the reconstructed volume is shown, along with the essential geometric metadata needed for reconstruction.
