\(G\) is a simply connected complex simple Lie group of type \(E_6\). This paper determines, up to equivalence, the set \(G^d\) of unitary irreducible representations for \(G\) with nonzero Dirac cohomology. A similar result for the complex Lie group of type \(F_4\) has been published in [\textit{J. Ding} and the author, ``Unitary representations with Dirac cohomology: a finiteness result'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1702.01876}]. In the paper under review, the author shows: \(G^d\) consists of 33 scattered representations whose spin-lowest \(K\)-types are all unitarily small, and 213 strings of representations. Moreover, each representation in \(G^d\) has a unique spin-lowest \(K-\)type which occurs with multiplicity one. The notion of unitarily small (u-small for short) was introduced by Salamanca-Riba and Vogan. A consequence of the theorem, in view of a conjecture stated by Barbasch and Pandzic, is that the scattered part should consist of unipotent representations. The proof is based on the classification of the equivalence classes for \((\mathfrak{g}, K)\)-modules due to Zhelobenko, and the observation: to find all the irreducible unitary representations with non-zero Dirac cohomology, it suffices to consider \(J(\lambda, -s\lambda)\), where \(s\) is an involution in the Weyl group, and \(\lambda\) is a weight such that \(2\lambda\) is dominant integral and regular. Here, \(J(\lambda, -s\lambda)\) is the irreducible \((\mathfrak{g},K)\)-module with Zhelobenko parameters \(\lambda_L=\lambda, \lambda_R =-s\lambda\); the finiteness result due to the author: \(G^d\) consists of finitely many scattered members (the scattered part) and finitely many strings of members (the string part).
