The author answers a question of M. Ohtsuka by proving that for \(n \geq 2\) and \(1 <p <2\) there are \(p\)-harmonic measures of subsets of \(\partial B^n, B^n = \{ x \in\mathbb{R}^n : |x|< 1 \},\) with infinite \(p\)-Dirichlet integral. Some of the key ingredients are: (1) use of stereographic projection to transform subsets of \(\partial B^n\) to subsets of \(\mathbb{R}^{n-1} = \{ x \in\mathbb{R}^n : x_n = 0 \}\), (2) estimation of the integrals \[ T(U,V) = {\int \int }_{U \times V} ||x-y ||^{-p-n+2} d \lambda(x) d \lambda(y) , \quad U, V \subset\mathbb{R}^{n-1} , \] (3) construction of sets of the form \((a_k, b_k) \times (-1,1) \times ... \times (-1,1) \subset\mathbb{R}^{n-1}\) with \(0 < a_{k+1} < b_k < a_k < 1, a_k \to 0,\) and suitable additional properties. \bigskip.
