The stability of the origin of a nonlinear closed-loop finite-dimensional, continuous-time control system connected with flexible beam is considered. Using Lapunov's direct and indirect methods global stability of two canonical closed-loop control systems is investigated. Sufficient conditions for global stability are formulated and proved. The form of nonlinear terms in state equations define the type of internal resonance in the dynamical system. Discussion of the existing results and some additional remarks and comments are also presented. A similar stability consideration for nonlinear control systems with closed-loop can be e.g. found in the paper of \textit{M. F. Golnaraghi}, \textit{K. L. Tuer} and \textit{D. Wang} [Dyn. Control 4, No. 1, 73-96 (1994; Zbl 0800.93529)].
