Let \(X\) be a Hausdorff topological vector space, \(D\) be an open convex subset of \(X\) and \((Y,K)\) be an order complete ordered Hausdorff locally bounded vector space with a normal cone \(K\). Assume that \(F:D\to n(Y): =\{S\subset Y: S\neq \emptyset\}\) is a set-valued function with closed bounded values in order sense. The authors prove that \(F\) is midpoint convex if and only if there exist an additive function \(a:X\to Y\) and a continuous and convex set-valued function \(G:D\to n(Y)\) such that \[ F(x)= a(x)+G(x) \quad\text{for} \quad x\in D. \tag \(\Phi\) \] This result contains some earlier results of the first author. Connections between the problem of the existence of a local Jensen selection of a midpoint convex set-valued function and the problem of representation of it in the form \((\Phi)\) are also considered.
