A special formulation of the \(q=-1\) quantum plane algebra is built on the product of algebras of functions on the standard plane. This algebra contains a subalgebra of functions on the plane. A general scheme, useful to construct a quaternion from pairs of complex numbers is presented and used for deriving differential structures and metrics. Also, examples of field theory models on the anticommutative plane are discussed.
