\(so(3)\)-topological quantum field theory (Q678100)

The authors determine basic data for a topological quantum field theory, i.e. a list of vector spaces, pairings and linear mappings from which any other vector space, pairing or linear mapping in the topological quantum field theory can be derived. In section 2 of this paper they review the definitions of topological quantum field theory from \textit{K. Walker} [On Witten's 3-manifold invariants, Preprint 1991]. In section 3 they give their choices of basic data, and in section 4 they prove that their choice of basic data satisfies the Moore-Seiberg equations and the data construct a topological quantum field theory. In section 5 they derive numerical values for the linear maps in their basic data.
