    The paper deals with the problem of stabilizing a linear system with bounded controls. More specifically, the systems under consideration are of the form \(\dot x=Ax+Bv\), \(y= Cx+Dv\), where the input \(v\) is of saturation type. The controllers that are considered are of the form \(\dot w=Hy\), \(u=Kw-Fy\) and conditions are identified that guarantee that the closed loop system is uniformly asymptotically stable, or input-output stable. An algorithm is developed for solving the problem which is illustrated on a simulation example.
