Some generalized radiation field integrals (Q679305)

The authors consider some integrals associated with radiation from a rectangular source and review analytical expansions for their computation. They generalize these integrals and find corresponding expansions. The coefficients are expressed in terms of Appell hypergeometric functions. Some specializations yield previously obtained results. A computer algorithm for calculating the Appell \(F_2\) functions is presented. The authors have calculated tables for selected parameter values which in special cases agree with previous calculations, but are of higher accuracy. These tables are available directly from the authors.
