Local and global existence of strong solutions to large cross diffusion systems (Q680361)

In a previous paper, the author studies the solvability of a general class of cross diffusion systems and proves the local and global existence of strong solutions under the assumption that the solutions are in VMO. The proof relies on fixed point theories and weighted Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequalities involving BMO norms. In the present work, the setting is simplified and conditions which are a bit stronger than the ones in the previous paper are assumed. The advantage of this new result is, however, that the new conditions are easily verifiable in applications.
