Let \(G\) be a finite group. \(G\) is called a CP-group if all elements of \(G\) are of prime-power order, a \(\mathrm{CP}_1\)-group if all elements of \(G\) are of prime order or of order 1. These classes of groups have been studied by many authors. \textit{M. Tărnăuceanu} [Publ. Math. 80, No. 3--4, 457--463 (2012; Zbl 1261.20028)] considers \(\mathrm{CP}_2\)-groups, i.e. groups in which \(|xy|\leq\max\{|x|,|y|\}\) for any \(x\) and \(y\). \(\mathrm{CP}_2\)-groups form a subclass of CP-groups, and the authors prove that \(G\) is a \(\mathrm{CP}_2\)-group if and only if either \(G\) is a \(\mathrm{CP}_2\) \(p\)-group for some prime \(p\), or \(G\) is a Frobenius group with kernel \(P\) of order \(p^a\) and cyclic complement \(Q\) of order \(q^b\), \(G\) has chief factors \(q,\ldots,q\) (\(b\) times), \(p^e,\ldots,p^e\) (\(k\) times), \(a=ke\), \(e\) is the exponent of \(p\) modulo \(q^b\), in which case the nilpotency class of \(P\) is at most \(k\). Furthermore, the authors discuss the problem of the description of \(\mathrm{CP}_2\) \(p\)-groups initiated [loc. cit.].
