Harmonic maps between quaternionic Kähler manifolds (Q6829403)

Given two Hermitian manifolds with almost quaternionic structures \(\sigma\) and \(\sigma'\), the authors propose a natural notion of \((\sigma,\sigma')\)-holomorphic maps between them. It is well-known that, for the case of Kähler mainfolds, there is often a close relationship between holomorphic and harmonic maps. In the current paper, a condition is given under which a \((\sigma,\sigma')\)-holomorphic map between quaternionic Kähler manifolds is harmonic. Moreover, a (somewhat technical) criterion is given which implies that this harmonic map is also stable.
