The paper under review classifies and explicitly describes homomorphisms between Verma modules for conformal Galilei algebras of spatial dimension 1. These homomorphisms are given by singular vectors and can be described in terms of solutions of certain differential equations of flag type. The paper identifies these singular vectors with certain polynomials arising as coefficients in the expansion of a parametric family of symmetric polynomials into power sum symmetric polynomials.
