In this paper inequality of \textit{A. Dalal} and \textit{N. K. Govil} [Anal. Theory Appl. 36, No. 2, 225--234 (2020; Zbl 1474.30005)] is sharpened. This inequality gives an estimate of the polynomial \( |p(z)| \) on \( |z|= 1 \) as an upper bound. The authors prove sharp result under some additional conditions. In Corollary 3.3 generalization of the obtained estimate is given for\( p(z) =z^{n}+k^{n} \). An illustrative example is presented as well.
