The author continues his work started in [Acta Sci. Math. 91, No. 3--4, 369--399 (2025; Zbl 08146986)], where he proved that the maximal possible dimension of a vector space of \(n\times n\) matrices defined over a field \(\mathbb F\), that is either infinite or has characteristic different from \(2\) is equal to \(\frac{n(n+1)}{2}\) if and only if \(\mathbb F\) is not quadratically closed. In the present paper he shows that if \(\mathbb F\) is a finite field of characteristic different than \(2\), the every weakly triangularizable subspace of \(M_n(\mathbb F)\) with dimension \(\frac{n(n+1)}{2}\) is similar to \(t_n(\mathbb F)\).
