Quantum logics and completeness criteria of inner product spaces (Q685175)

This paper is a survey on the completeness criteria of a real or complex inner product space \(S\). The author considers eight families of closed subspaces of \(S\), and investigates the completeness of \(S\) with respect to finitely additive, countably additive and completely additive measures. If the reader is interested in the technical details of this paper, he or she is recommended to refer to the author's monograph ``Gleason's theorem and its applications'' (1993).
