Let \(Z\) be an isometrically embedded version of the flat cylinder \([0,h]\times S(1)\) of height \(h\) over the unit circle \(S(1)\) in Euclidean 3-space. The author shows intuitively that there is a continuous family of isometric embeddings which finally interchanges the orientation of \(Z\) if \(h\in (0,\pi/2)\). If the bound \(\pi/2\) for \(h\) is sharp, remains an unsolved problem.
