In this short remark some comments from the viewpoint of medicine to the paper of \textit{C. Hamburger} [the same journal 12, No. 2, 379-391 (1993; Zbl 0798.49003)] are given. The author of the note indicates that the mathematical model presented in the paper does not sufficiently reflect the real physiological processes and functions of organisms during the race and therefore cannot be applied to living beings, maybe only to machines. Mathematical calculations are not discussed.
